2013 Ride For Safety ends in irony
While we applaud Ride for Safety for raising safety awareness among motorcyclists, we can’t help but question the wisdom of bringing hundreds of bikers together at close quarters in the heart of the city — even on a Sunday morning — to promote “safety”. At the 2013 edition of the ride, a couple of showboats clearly didn’t get in the spirit of the endeavour, as the above video shows. Thankfully, nobody appeared seriously hurt and everyone was indeed wearing a helmet.
