Bajaj raises prices of the KTM 390 Duke, delivery drops to 15 days
It’s been rumoured for a while, and now it’s official. The KTM 390 Duke you will now set you back an additional ₹6500. The new ex-showroom price in Mumbai is ₹1,91,585, or ₹2,11,131 on-road, Navi Mumbai (nearly identical within city limits, thanks to the new local body tax). This is up from ₹1,85,011 ex-Mumbai at launch. Bajaj appear to have cleared a hump in supply, with the delivery period being quoted at 15 days against the previous 90 days. For those of you holding out for the black 390 that’s already visible on the KTM website, you’re out of luck. The only colour available remains white.
The new price represents a 3.5 percent hike, which isn’t really going to make a significant difference to prospective customers. We expect the upcoming RC390 to command a much healthier premium, making the Duke a bargain pick, even with the new price.
